Woody Wood

Woody Wood 83C established the Woody Wood Scholarship in 2015. Woody graduated from Emory with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and was able to attend as a result of the university’s generous financial aid program. Woody created his scholarship in order to help create opportunities for students in need and expects scholarship recipients to leverage the Emory experience over a lifetime. Woody volunteers his time one on one, as a mentor, or occasionally as a marathon coach for first time marathoners. He leverages his extensive experience in the financial services industry to help others reach their retirement goals. Woody’s mission in life is to create a world of learning and serenity, by creating awareness and leading by example.
