Thomas L. Bisanz
Thomas L. Bisanz is a highly accomplished entrepreneur with extensive experience in apartment management and leasing, as well as a distinguished legal career. After graduating Summa Cum Laude in Finance from the Emory University School of Business, he pursued his passion for law and attended Emory University School of Law, where he earned his J.D.
With over 40 years of active licensure as an attorney specializing in real estate, Mr. Bisanz possesses in-depth knowledge of federal laws, state statutes, and regulations governing real estate licensing, compliance, and brokerage. He has focused his expertise on the leasing and management of residential properties, representing clients in 47 states and the District of Columbia.
Throughout his career, Mr. Bisanz has served as a Designated Broker and Broker of Record, making him one of the most experienced professionals in this capacity nationwide. His full-time practice is dedicated to providing expert guidance and ensuring compliance with licensing requirements in various jurisdictions. Additionally, he acts as the Sponsoring Broker for clients’ employee/licensees, offering valuable support and oversight.
Mr. Bisanz’s dedication to the apartment industry is evident in his vast experience and commitment to client representation. As the Designated Broker, he has successfully resolved numerous investigations and audits on behalf of his clients across seven states. His comprehensive understanding of the complex legal landscape surrounding residential property management has earned him a stellar reputation in the field.
In recognition of his remarkable achievements and his desire to support aspiring transactional lawyers, Thomas Bisanz, along with his wife Susan H. Bisanz, made a generous gift to establish the Thomas L. Bisanz Endowed Scholarship for the Center for Transactional Law and Practice at Emory University. This scholarship serves as a testament to their commitment to education and their belief in the importance of transactional law. Mr. Bisanz resides in Dallas with his wife, three children, and five grandchildren.
