Susan Cahoon

The Susan A. Cahoon Scholarship was established by Kilpatrick, Townsend & Stockton, LLP in honor of Susan Cahoon to provide a lasting legacy for future generations of Emory students. Over the years, Susan has been committed to education in addition to her professional success. Susan, an Atlanta attorney, is a partner at Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton, LLP and a member of the Emory Board of Trustees. During her time at Emory, she helped Emory’s Barkley Forum debate team bring home its first national championship, was the second woman to have served on the College’s Honor Council, and participated in a number of other campus organizations and activities. She graduated from Emory College in 1968 majoring in history and economics and received her law degree from Harvard University in 1971.
