Throughout her 38 years of service at Emory University, Fagan played a pivotal role in nurturing the academic and professional growth of students. As the Director of Career Services at Emory Law School, she wholeheartedly supported students in their career journeys, providing guidance, mentorship, and invaluable resources. She was instrumental in establishing programs such as the Southeastern Law Placement Consortium and the Southeastern Minority Job Fair, which opened doors of opportunity for aspiring legal professionals from diverse backgrounds.

Recognizing the importance of alumni engagement, Fagan took on the role of Assistant Dean for Development and Senior Director of Alumni Relations at Emory University School of Law. In this capacity, she worked tirelessly to foster meaningful connections between alumni, the university, and the broader Emory community. Through her efforts, she facilitated fundraising campaigns, established endowments and scholarships, and orchestrated events that brought alumni together to celebrate their shared experiences.

Additionally, she generously volunteered her time and expertise to organizations such as the Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University and Project Open Hand, where she made a positive impact on the lives of patients and their families.
