Jim and Celia Ferman

Jim and Celia Ferman established the Cecelia Ferman Scholarship in 2007. Celia is an avid supporter of the Michael C. Carlos Museum and has been involved with reunion committees at Emory. Celia received her Bachelor’s degree from Emory University in 1965. Celia has received numerous awards honoring her dedication to community service. Jim holds numerous business and civic leadership positions including President of the Ferman Motor Car Company in Tampa, Florida. He also serves on the Emory University Board of Trustees. Jim received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Emory University in 1965. Both Jim and Celia were awarded the Emory Medal in 1999. Together, they are actively involved in their local community of Tampa, Florida and continue to be commited to the Emory community.
