Jeffrey and Nina Kim

Jeffrey 93C and Nina Kim established the Kim Family Scholarship in 2017. Reflecting on his experiences as a student, Jeff says Emory has molded him into the person he is today by providing him with a diverse educational experience that allowed him to pursue his goal towards medicine. At the same time, he was able to expand his knowledge in so many areas including a major in History. These experiences provided him with the confidence to become a leader in his community. After graduating from Emory, Jeff went on to receive his Doctor of Medicine from Howard University. Through his profession, Jeff is involved in organizations and community groups focusing on healthcare issues such as colon cancer awareness and inflammatory bowel disease awareness.
